The issue is that the Xbox Game Bar doesn't display the volume mixer correctly, it only shows the main audio driver's volume mixer and nothing else (no app volume mixer like:ĬS:GO, Microsoft Edge Beta, Spotify etc.).įor the Microsoft employees reading this, this is a persistent issue in Windows. I have had this problem for about 3 weeks. When we click Volume Mixer and Sound Settings in the volume context menu of the taskbar, the settings app opens and we are not taken to specific settings. I have tried a more recent version, it also doesnt work. Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>communications. I know this is not the answer you wanted, but it's all we have Everything seems fine except Womble MPEG Wizard DVD Version 3 (unsure of version) which does not output sound.

But I just factory reset my PC, the volume mixer works perfectly now.

Edit 1: still no actual answer for a way to fix this.
